Wood Serving Platter & Knife
These platters are hand carved boards from local restored wood, with a distinctive whittled pattern. Their concave bottom hides more of the beautiful pattern underneath while giving food an elevated presentation.
Together with a smoothly finished knife, this set is perfect serving butter, cheese, vegetables and more.
The platter comes in 2 sizes - small and large - making it good for personal dishes as well as serving shared food at the heart of the table.

The Process
Every piece by Yuval Buchstaub starts in the woods. Finding only naturally fallen trees he gathers pieces to carefully shapes them into usable art.
These serving platters are all made by hand, taking pieces of wood, framing them to a sturdy surface and widdling elegant patterns. Each platter is a uniquely crafted representation of the wood it's made of.
Aside from the obvious personal handcrafted touch that goes into everything Yuval creates, these platters in particular have an incredible combination of simplicity and beauty. They add personality to everything we've put on them and are just so inviting to hold and use.
We love breaking them out for a dinner party just as much as just sitting by ourselves eating crumbly bread.
How to Use It
The platters are perfect for bringing a table together either as individual servings, like bruscetta or sandwiches, or as centerpieces at the heart of the table.
To clean the platter, wash it with warm soapy water and dry it after use.
